There's so much to see and do!Every week at Crusin' Grand promises something to look forward to. The kids and adults alike always enjoy the hula hoop or bubble gum chewing contests that happen every Friday night, along with guessing music trivia questions asked by the D.J. playing music on the North East corner of Grand and Broadway. A second D.J. is located a few blocks down at the west end of the Crusin' Grand Strip. Come hang out and listen to Kareokee being performed by adults and kids of all ages! Or grab the mike and sing a couple yourself. In any case, it's a lot of fun.
On occasion our sponser, Harrah's Resort and Casino, sets up a trailer at the south end of Broadway with yet another D.J. Come by to visit, and you might get some Harrah's mardi gras beads, or other gifts! Or you might find one of the local businesses setting up for a promotional event
Each week at about 8:30 the crowds' favorite cars are moved to Broadway for display, and trophies are given out. Yes, you can let these car owners know how much you like their cars by voting for your favorites.
Broadway is also the place to check out the various car clubs that take turns displaying their cars. Such clubs and groups include, the Mopar Club, Escondido's new and old collection of Fire Trucks, the Woody Club, Race Cars from nearby local racetracks, the International Bentley Club, and many more.
On occasion you can be treated to live music performed by local bands. These bands range from four piece rock and jazz bands, to local High School Bands.
